The National Testing Agency (NTA) has a strict eligibility criteria that applicants need to meet in order to sit for the examination. Any discrepancy in the application form such as age, caste or pass percentage in class 12 boards can result in the rejection of a candidate’s NEET application form. Given below are the conditions that candidates need to fulfil to meet NEET eligibility criteria.
Note: There is no reservation of seats for OBC-creamy layer candidates.
Minimum age to apply for NEET 2021 is 17 years. After the orders from the Supreme Court, upper age limit, which was 25 years has been removed. The final decision on the same is still pending.
Candidates who want to apply for NEET 2021 should be of minimum 17 years of age and have passed class 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology and English with a minimum of 50% marks.
