Re-NEET Final Answer Key 2026 Out Now! Score Calculation & Next Steps Ahead

The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the Re-NEET Final Answer Key 2026 on 16 July 2026 on its official website, neet.nta.nic.in. If you appeared for the Re-NEET examination held on 21 June 2026, you can now download the final answer key PDF and calculate your expected score with confidence.

This is the official answer key that will be used to prepare the Re-NEET 2026 Result. The provisional answer key was released on 25 June 2026, giving students time to raise objections until 28 June 2026. After reviewing all the challenges submitted by candidates, NTA has now published the final answer key.

Downloading the Re-NEET 2026 Final Answer Key takes just a few minutes. Follow these simple steps:

• Step 1: Visit the official website, neet.nta.nic.in.
• Step 2: On the homepage, click on the "Re-NEET UG 2026 Final Answer Key" link.
• Step 3: Log in using your application number and password or date of birth.
• Step 4: Select your question paper code (50, 60, 70, or 80). You can find your paper code on your admit card and OMR sheet.
• Step 5: Click on "Download Answer Key." The PDF will open on your screen.
• Step 6: Download your OMR response sheet as well so you can compare it with the final answer key.
• Step 7: Save the PDF and keep a printed copy for future reference.

The provisional answer key and the final answer key may look similar, but they serve two different purposes.

Provisional Answer Key: Released on 25 June 2026, it gave candidates an opportunity to raise objections by paying a fee of ₹200 per question. It was meant for preliminary score estimation and reviewing possible errors.

Final Answer Key: Released after reviewing all valid objections submitted by candidates, the final answer key incorporates all accepted changes and was used by NTA to prepare the Re-NEET 2026 Result, which has now been announced. No further objections are accepted after the final answer key is released.

It is worth noting that in the provisional answer key, one Physics question was dropped, while another question had two correct answers accepted.

Now that the final answer key is available, you can estimate your score using the official marking scheme with accuracy.

• Correct Answer: +4 marks
• Incorrect Answer: −1 mark
• Unattempted Question: 0 marks

Formula:

Total Score = (Correct Answers × 4) − (Incorrect Answers × 1)

Example:

If you answered 155 questions correctly and 18 incorrectly:

(155 × 4) − (18 × 1) = 620 − 18 = 602 marks

Compare your OMR response sheet with the final answer key carefully and count your correct and incorrect responses section-wise to estimate your score as accurately as possible.

Your OMR response sheet contains the complete record of the answers you marked during the examination. Comparing it with the final answer key is the best way to verify your expected score.
